Describe your role with Pure Joy:
My role at Pure Joy is working along with Chef Carter creating flavorful, delicious menus for our wonderful clients, and bringing the love into the food.
What is your favorite part of your work?
Traveling to all the beautiful venues and being able to create delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts for our clients to celebrate their special occasions.

If you were a cocktail, what would you be and why?
A shot of mezcal with an orange wedge. It has a strong smokey flavor and finishes with the sweetness of an orange. Just like myself - straight to the point with a hint of sweetness.
What do you do for fun?
I spend time with my family going on fun adventures, taking road trips to new locations, making homemade pizzas, and spending some time on the beach looking for sea glass.
What else do you want our readers to know about you?
What I would like readers to know about me is… food to me is passion. I love cooking and being able to do it for a living is the greatest! I want readers to know the food that comes from our kitchen comes with love.
A Note From the Executive Chef
It is such a treat for me to have Jen on the team! She is so enthusiastic and naturally full of joy, she's a rare & precious chef. Jen is super artistic and creative, she makes amazing pies! But she can also handle the grill for hundreds of guests like a superhero. Whatever we are doing, Jen just gets it and runs with it. At Pure Joy Catering, we are constantly evolving and changing and growing - which fits Jens make up to a T. Her contagious can-do attitude and her open, team player charisma is a great lead for the on-site culinary teams too. It is an honor to have this fabulous lady with us making the Joy happen.
