California is what wedding dreams are made of. We have fabulous weather, the Pacific Ocean, gorgeous natural scenery and a plethora of wedding venues to choose from. Our pristine coastline leaves you with a jaw dropping backdrop and this Bride & Groom took full advantage of Santa Barbara’s coastal offerings. Rachel & Nick absolutely love the ocean and are avid surfers so naturally they opted to have their ceremony and reception at El Capitan Beach. Our favorite part of this love story is how the ocean life decided to congratulate this newly wedded couple. Right after their ceremony, behind the ceremony arch, a breached whale took everyone’s breath away. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect and we believe it was an omen for their happily ever after.
When you have such a gorgeous venue, it doesn’t take much to spruce it up. We love Rachel & Nick’s style of simple greens, white blooms and scattered sea shells. The bridesmaids wore a dusty rose which complemented the sunset swimmingly and the sky blue & grey details were perfectly matched with the ocean. We just loved the organic and natural elements; and to ride that same tide, we went organic and used tons of Farmer’s Market fresh ingredients for their delicious menu:
