Embracing Nature's Elegance, a neutral and whimsical greenery wedding theme, pays homage to the timeless allure of the surrounding San Luis Obispo. Such was the case for Chloe & Kevin who blended simplicity and sophistication, as the delicate harmony of neutral tones and lush greenery creates a dreamy and ethereal ambiance for a truly unforgettable celebration.
Great care and attention went into each detail of the wedding planned by Whitney James Event & Design and beautifully photographed by Anna Delores Photography capturing each precious moment for the wedding couple.
Guests were welcomed by Pure Joy Catering with passed appetizers. Baked Artichoke Bottoms with lemony parmesan filling, Ribbons of Grilled Filet with golden tasted circles, olive tapenade, arugula & roasted garlic aioli. The third appetizer circling guests was the Tandoori Chicken Spears with minted mango yogurt dip all complimenting the relaxing cocktail hour perfectly.
Once seated for dinner, Chloe & Kevin alongside family and friends feasted on the plated Buttermilk Salad, featuring farmer's market vegetables of butter lettuce, local oranges, avocado, and fresh buttermilk dressing. The dinner course offered family-style bountiful platters of Grilled Salmon Filet (fresh on site!) with fresh sorrel sauce and Slow-Braised Short Ribs. Complimenting entrees were Golden Scalloped Potatoes with thyme and Vegan Fava Tomato Tart, heirloom tomato, caramelized onion, and fava beans baked in a peppered hazelnut crust.
Served alongside the classic wedding cake (with the cutest furry additions!) were Cookies & Milk. Chocolate Pillow Cookies (gluten-free & vegan) with peanut butter filling served with the cutest tiny mason jars of chilled milk on ice. The perfect finish.
