Memorial Day Weekend: Summer Favorites

On this Memorial Day weekend, we remember the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We honor their courage and dedication to our freedom.

Many of us will be gathering with family and friends, having a backyard BBQ, or camping in some great American backdrop. It is a time to celebrate the start of summer and also a time to enjoy delicious food with loved ones.

A few of our Pure Joy favorites for the summer and great ideas for your next party are below:

Slider Station, chef serving up sliders hot off the grill; juicy beef, turkey and veggie burgers, cheddar cheese, chili jack, crisp bacon, heirloom tomatoes, arugula, farmer's market lettuces, caramelized red onions, chipotle mayo, garlic aioli, and country mustard.

Watermelon Salad, cubed watermelon & pistachio-crusted goat cheese medallions dressed in local honey, mint, and lime.

Corn Ribs, parmesan, lime & chipotle mayo, served in a galvanized bucket of popcorn.

Executive Chef's Cake Pops, rich delicious & adorable, a beautiful variety made with real chocolates and passed in cigarette girl trays.
