Raising the Bar Mitzvah

This Bar Mitzvah won all the style points. We've been tracking the event trends for this upcoming season and this event pretty much hit the nail on the head. Not only did they throw an epic party to celebrate Judah's coming of age, but they did it in the coolest way possible. I imagine his friends at school will be talking about this as the party of the year for quite some time and we were so excited to be a part of it.

The first thing we need to talk about is the velvet. It's completely in and trending right now and this kid's got the cool vibes going on for sure. With his purple velvet suit, he deserves at least five style points for his impressive threads. Next up, they chose wonderful purple velvet linens; you're going to see velvet linens popping up everywhere in a variety of saturated colors. This is the newest trend we might be the most excited about because, well, linens people! Linens set the stage for some of the most important parts of the event, like the communal style feasting.

Copper has made a huge comeback and we hope it stays that way because it's gorgeous. It was beautifully incorporated in a number of the design details; the cake top touted Judah's coming of age and also donned a copper tiger. They chose a galactic/tropical theme which came together nicely and made Judah's Bar Mitzvah memorable for all. We opted to play off the copper accents and add our glorious copper chafing dishes to the action stations to tie it all together. And this is where we get into the a menu that was out of this world! Action stations are all the rage right now. Why? Because they're fun, interactive and your guests really get to see their food being created right in front of their eyes. It doesn't get much fresher than that.
