How long have you been in the hospitality industry & where have you honed your skills? I just started in June of this year in the hospitality industry and I’ve been able to really hone my skills with pure joy and it’s helped me a lot with my people skills and going out of my comfort zone.Â
What is the culture at Pure Joy?
The culture at Pure Joy is very welcoming and fun!! As soon as I started everyone has been so nice and helpful. I always have a blast at events and have met some really great people from all walks of life.Â
What do you contribute to events (beyond truly exceptional cuisine 😉?
What I contribute to events is hard work. No matter what task I’m given I’m going to make sure I do it quickly but also to the best of my ability.Â
What’s your favorite part of your work?
My favorite part of the job is probably bussing tables and being able to chat with guests. I have had so many really interesting conversations with guests that make the long hours go by fast. Sometimes you end up having an inside joke with the guest the rest of the night too lol.Â
If you were a cocktail or food dish, what would you be and why?
I don’t really know what kind of dish I would be but it would probably have a lot and I mean A LOT of cheese on it. Cause cheese is too hard to resist hahaha.
What do you do for fun?
Some things I do for fun is read, paint, workout or spend time cleaning lol. My favorite book is The Song of Achilles and if you haven’t read it yet, you should go buy it right now lol!!Â
